About Us

The Team is in Winter League Division 3 and plays from 7:30pm until approx 11:00pm on Thursday evenings.

We play away in Portsmouth / Havant / Waterlooville area. New Players welcome to join.

Broad Oak Social Club’s Snooker team have had an excellent start to the season, sitting joint second in the league as we approach the half way point.

The signing of Mike Harmer has been a great success as he remains unbeaten in both the league and The Peter Rook Cup, knocking in an excellent 32 in his last victory over Cowplain B. His absence was notable as Broad Oak shared the honours with Craneswater on Tuesday, helped by victories for both Mark Restall and Gerry Wheeler, while the Cornwell brothers (Simon & Lance) had respectable 1-1 draws.

Mike Harmer and Lance Cornwell have also reached the last 16 of the Sid Mathews Cup and face a trick draw away to Rob Derry Snr and Rob Derry Junior at Waterlooville Sports Bar in early December as they fight for a place in the quarter finals.

Why not rock out to some 1970’s Status Quo or hit the boardwalk with our tribute to The Drifters. We also hit the 80’s hard with our unique take on a variety of 80’s classics.
